As it is a civil wedding ceremony, we work together on your ceremony so you can choose any elements you would like to include. As well as how you would like the whole ceremony to flow. So creating your wedding ceremony is a very exciting process as we can add and combine any customs to the extent that you want.
The combination of a civil wedding with an Indian wedding enhances and even uplifts the ceremony itself and the celebrations that follow.
Civil Marriage
In this civil marriage with elements from an Indian wedding, the bride and groom chose two main colours, blue and yellow. Hence, all the decorations, food, plates, cutlery, tablecloths, and dress code were in those bright colours.
The theme was blue and yellow, so I wore those colours in a light blue dress
We started the wedding ceremony with both the bride and groom presenting their two sets of parents with flowers. a beautiful gracious way of thanking the parents for all they have done for them over the years.
Then the parents as well as some siblings, each came over in return and added a rose to the bride’s bouquet while also blessing the couple.
