You can choose to include any ritual in the ceremony form the many I offer. So parents chose three godparents who together participated in the sand ceremony ritual. And we included the ritual in the name giving ceremony.
While at this ceremony, each colour represented one of the godparents. There are nine coloured sand that you can choose from. So each colour represents different personalities and aspirations. Once the sand is poured into the main jar, it symbolizes the unity as well as the togetherness in the family.
