Commitment / Love Ceremonies

Unless commitment is made, there are only promisesand hopes  but no plans." - Peter Drucker

Commitment Ceremonies are available to couples who wish to make a special commitment to each other,
and wish to publicly declare their promise in front of family and friends, without taking the step into legal marriage -
for whatever reason.

Holding a Commitment Ceremony can be a deeply meaningful, empowering and personally satisfying way to acknowledge and celebrate the significance and permanence of your union.

The Commitment Ceremony is not a wedding, but a commitment between the couple to share their lives together.

Although not legally recognized in Australia , a Commitment Ceremony can in all other general respects resemble a normal marriage ceremony, and can be designed to suit your own particular needs and ideas with dignity and flair.

A Commitment Ceremonies is also available to same sex couples, providing them with an opportunity to have a meaningful ceremony, surrounded by family and friends.

The  ceremony is carefully planned and written, and includes readings, a statement of commitment, the exchange of rings and music, if couples wish, or can be individually written to suit each couple.

The Commitment Ceremony is not only an expression of love for each other, but also a remembrance of the times past and of hopes for the future.
I will provide you with an extensive resource of sample readings, poems and ceremonies, plus ideas for symbolic rituals and extras you may wish to include to make your ceremony that little bit unique,
to help guide and inspire you. I welcome any ideas and creative suggestions you may make, and will work with you to create a ceremony that reflects your love and aspirations as a couple.

A beautiful Certificate commemorating your commitment, and a copy of the Ceremony will be presented to you on the day.
