The ceremony began beneath a clear sky, with warm sunshine over the garden. It felt like nature itself was blessing their union.
But as the day unfolded, Sydney’s famously unpredictable weather made an entrance. By the time we gathered for photos, the sky had opened up with rain and rumbling thunder in the distance. Still, the joy and love that filled the air remained untouched. Not even a sudden downpour could effect the spirit of the day—it simply added an extra challenge (and a few laughs) for the photographer, who had to capture precious moments between the raindrops.
We didn’t forget and paused to send heartfelt thoughts and prayers to their families back home in Nepal, following the overnight earthquake. It was a deeply emotional moment—one that reminded us of the strength of love, family, and unity across continents.
Rain or shine, it was a wedding filled with warmth, resilience, and deep connection.
