This very relaxed easy-going wedding was at Manly Dam, a heritage-listed reservoir in Manly Vale.
This wedding location on the Northern Beaches is a bit of a hidden gem with scenic views all around Manly Lake. A very different and unusual location for a wedding. Which makes it even more special.
So if you are after a little different wedding ceremony location, this might be a place to consider. There are very private little areas where you can have your ceremony in this reserve. And with the lake as a backdrop, it is absolutely magnificent for any wedding photos. Certainly, the ambient is amazing.
The bride and groom booked one of the picnic areas as well as a small catering company to prepare yummy food for their guests. Hence, to go with the atmosphere, there were lots of throw rugs everywhere for family and friends to relax.
I brought along with me a small table and two chairs for signing the registry. Some of their friends helped with putting together a cute again very different arch.
