Interstate Couples

Interstate couples getting married in Sydney

It is really easy to get married in Sydney

I offer all the same services and can help you with ideas for locations if you like.
I will help make the whole process stress free and easy for you.

Together we can create the ceremony while communicating via emails, Skype, webcam, the post and telephone.

I will advise you of the procedure, meanwhile here is some information to give you some idea how easy the process is.

  •  You will need to fill in a legal document called a Notice of Intention to Marry (NOIM.)
  • After filling out the  NOIM,  it must be signed at least 1 month before your wedding day in the presence of one of the following –
    • an authorised marriage celebrant; or
a Commissioner for Declarations under the Statutory Declarations Act 1959; or
a Justice of the Peace; or
      a Barrister or Solicitor; or
a legally qualified medical practitioner; or
a member of the Australian Federal Police of the police force of a State or Territory.
  • Once you have filled out the NOIM sign it infront of any of the above authorities, you will then need to fax or scan the (NOIM) form to me. By Australian Law, I need to have received the (NOIM) form at least one calendar month, before your wedding day, but no more than eighteen months before your proposed wedding date.
  • Once faxed or emailed, please send the Notice of Intended Marriage form to me by registered mail.
  • I will then email you a suggested script, advise you on venues, vows and more.
  • So I look forward to meeting you on your wedding day.
  • After the ceremony I will aply on your behalf for the official marriage certificate from the BDM and make sure you receive it back at home.

An amazing location for a wedding with Sydney Opera House and Sydney Bridge in the background.
