So we celebrated the naming day combined with this young toddler’s naming ceremony with lots of family and friends around us.
And since there were so many family members, parents also chose to include the sand ceremony ritual to emphasise the unity in the family. There are nine coloured sand that you can choose from. Sometimes one colour can represent a group of people, like the uncles or aunties.
